Local Arts Group Helps Jupiter Nonprofit with ‘Chasing Summer’ Exhibit

June 12, 2013

The Artists Association of Jupiter, in conjunction with Unique Glass Art, was “Chasing Summer” at its monthly open house in an effort to raise awareness and money for the Jupiter Performing Arts Fund organization.

“Chasing Summer” took place at A Unique Art Gallery, 226 Center Street, and proceeds from sales of artwork created by the association’s artists directly benefited the nonprofit that provides musical instruments, clinics, camps and scholarship to music students in northern Palm Beach County.

“Chasing Summer” also featured an “Artist Challenge,” in which artists created a piece of artwork that depicts the meaning of summer. All mediums and genres participated. Monetary donations were collected during the evening, as well.
