Annually Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast hosts Watch A Rising Star vocal competition. The event will be held on February 16th, 2013 and will include a silent auction, live auction, plated dinner, and a concert showcasing talented youth vocalists in the Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Hendry counties. The evening will be held in the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center, and The Breakers will be preparing the menu.

In the months leading up to the competition, seniors from local high schools will audition and compete for the four finalist positions. These finalists will be featured at several locations throughout the area, showcasing their talent. Auditions are open to any senior in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Hendry Counties with singing talent, and are set to take place Saturday November 3rd, 2012 at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
