Downtown at the Gardens rocks this summer

“Rock and Roll Summer at Downtown V2” returns to Downtown at the Gardens this summer, bringing the hippest tribute bands each Friday from June 7 through Aug. 30.

“Rock and Roll Summer at Downtown V2,” in partnership with 98.7-FM and Seacoast National Bank, salutes classic rock bands from 7 to 10 p.m. in Downtown Park, adjacent to The Cheesecake Factory. This year, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center will be the presenting sponsor.

“We are very excited to be continuing this summer tradition,” said Kendall Rumsey, director of marketing for Downtown at the Gardens. “Last year’s events were fun for the entire community, and, with our partners at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Seacoast National Bank and The Gater 98.7-FM, this summer promises to be filled with even more exciting surprises”

The lineup for the event series includes:

June 7: US Stones – The ultimate Rolling Stones tribute show

June 14: Let It Be – The Beatles come alive

June 21: Never Stop Believin’ and Livin’ on a Prayer – Where Journey meets Bon Jovi

June 28: Blues Brothers Soul Review – For the “soul man” in everyone

July 5: 1984 – The David Lee Roth-era Van Halen tribute show

July 12: Rocket Man – The dynamic Elton John tribute show

July 19: That’s So Shania – A high-energy Shania Twain country tribute

July 26: Highway to Hell – The ultimate AC/DC tribute show

Aug. 2: Orange Sunshine – Re-live the ’60s at this amazing show

Aug. 9: Lazy Bones – A tribute to ’80s hair bands

Aug. 16: The Caribbean Chillers – The No. 1 Jimmy Buffett tribute show

Aug. 23: U2 by UV – The incredible U2 tribute show

Aug. 30: Alter Eagles – An authentic Eagles tribute experience

In addition to great entertainment, guests will enjoy children’s activities, special food-valet service from the restaurants at Downtown at the Gardens and giveaways. Rock on!
