Seniors at Devonshire at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens hosted a special charity auction on Thursday, May 28.  The event titled “May I Have the First Bid?” was held in an effort to raise funds for the ASPCA and the Salvation Army.

Residents of the retirement community donated items for the auction including vases, purses, scarves, framed artwork, sculptures, lamps, and many other items.  As a result, the community raised $400 to be split evenly between the two charities.
