THE NEW HISTORICAL NORTHWOOD ART WALK STARTS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2013!
Historic Northwood Village's ArtX, a collaboration of 11 galleries, is excited to announce a new event, The Historic Northwood Village ArtWalk and Guided Tour, a one-hour guided tour of Northwood Village's Art District that occurs the second Saturday of each month.
The tour will begin at 6 p.m. at the Center for Creative Education (CCE) building in the heart of Northwood Village, 425 24th Street, West Palm Beach. The tour guide will start with a short intro on the history of Northwood Village and then tour goers will visit an eclectic mix of gallery spaces, boutique shops and favorite local restaurants.
Tour visitors will be offered a special at local restaurants, and while they sip wine and enjoy appetizers, artists will present demos and lectures on art-related topics.
This inaugural ArtWalk is free, but space is limited to 16 people, so please register by 5 p.m. on Oct. 10 (Future ArtWalks will be $15 per person). The First Historic Northwood Village ArtWalk begins at CCE Building, 425 24th Street, West Palm Beach. The first tour starts at 6 p.m. the second tour will start approximately at 7:20 p.m. Participating galleries are Arthouse 429, Bohemia AG, CCE, Christopher Gatelock Photoart, Gallery 418, Harold’s Coffee Lunge Art, Hennevelt’s Gallery, Norhtwood Glass Art and Gifts, OSGS, and Suzanne Connors Fine Art Gallery.
