Nova Southeastern University (NSU) has relocated and expanded its Student Educational Center to a new state-of-the art facility in Palm Beach Gardens at the intersection of I-95 and Military Trail. A ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 5 p.m. to celebrate the opening of the new four-story, 75,000-square-foot facility.
NSU has been offering degree programs in Palm Beach County for more than 35 years. Currently, the Palm Beach Center has more than 1,400 students enrolled in bachelor, master, doctoral and professional degree programs, including pharmacy, business, education, mental health counseling and school psychology. Two new nursing programs, a Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, will be added to the curriculum beginning in January of 2012. The new facility features 26 classrooms, including four labs. It is equipped with video conferencing capabilities, computer labs, wireless internet connection throughout the facility, a student lounge, a fitness area and other amenities. The Center will be available to host community events and conferences.
